Most adults require roughly seven to eight hours of zzzzz each night. If you don't feel tired during the day, you are getting sufficient sleep.
Will going to a doctor stop insomnia? First off, your doctor will ask some questions about the sleep habits you have, what you medicines you take, and anything else you do in your life that could contribute to your problems getting sleep
Many people try to stop insomnia by ingesting sleeping pills. This is not recommended. The relief they provide won't last all that long, and the insomnia will quickly appear. You should only use sleeping pills on an occasional basis. Also, if you have certain health problems, sleeping pills can do you harm. Consult your doctor before using sleeping pills.
